Mike Shinoda (Linkin Park) Honors Bandmate Chester Bennington


Mike Shinoda, Linkin Park’s co-founder and rapper/singer has canceled his daily live stream on Twitch yesterday (July 20th), in honor of Linkin Park’s former frontman and lead singer Chester Bennington.

July 20th marks the date of death of the band’s former lead singer Chester Bennington. Chester died at the age of 41 and Linkin Park have been on hiatus ever since.

Ever since the beginning of quarantine, Mike Shinoda has been doing live streams on Twitch where he interacts with fans and creates songs by request of the audience in many different styles and genres.

Mike posted the following message on his instagram stories:

“Not streaming today. Thanks for understanding.”
