Is Kanye West Working On Music With Rock Band The Mars Volta?

The levels of controversy in which Kanye West is immersed seem endless. Not even 72 hours after his first political rally, the rapper, apparently immersed in a major mental crisis, has posted a tweet that left fans wondering and clueless about its meaning. "The Mars Volta: we need to finish the album," says the artist in a publication that is accompanied by a video recorded by his own phone in which "The Widow" by the well-known alternative rock group plays in the background.

The footage that is seen on the video is directly taken from a sports documentary whose soundtrack featured The Mars Volta track from the album of "Frances The Mute" (2005).

Watch the video and read the caption below:

The Mars Volta was an American progressive rock band from El Paso, Texas, formed in 2001 and in September 2012 The Mars Volta entered a indefinite hiatus.

The band’s members, Cedric Bixler-Zavala and Omar Rodríguez-López reunited in 2015 to revive their former band At the Drive-In. Will we see a The Mars Volta reunion in the near future?

In another tweet, Kanye West posted a new tracklist for his album DONDA which he said it’s coming out on Friday. The 12-track LP follows his previous announcement that a new album called God’s Country was in the works.
