This pianist is the hero we all need right now…

The pandemic is taking its toll on all of us in one way or another. The culture sector, and with it the music sector, is being one of the most punished by not being able to hold concerts or large events that artists are used to. Most have been postponed to the next year 2021, but only time will tell if they can be celebrated. For the moment musicians felt the need to reinvent themselves and many continue to carry out their work and release new albums on the market despite the uncertainty of the moment.

A courageous man took things to another level and performed in the middle of the street during the Barcelona riots related to the new lockdown in Spain…

To the sound of a peaceful and romantic “Eternal Flame” originally performed by The Bangles, this man doesn’t let anyone bother his performance.

“ This man represents many of us. Barcelona, 2020. Eternal Flame ”, wrote the Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz on his Instagram page. The artist shared the surreal video that has gone viral from the user @YourAnonOne, who did not hesitate to record this act that in such circumstances is worthy of being considered heroic. In it we can see how a man has stood in the middle of the street with his piano without hesitating for a second while the riots in Barcelona surround him with police vans, fire, shots, whistles and people running. There are several people around the man to encourage and give him all the strength he needs in those moments when, once again, music wins.
