Ozzy Osbourne Shares Amazing News! “I'm Doing Another Record Right Now”
Great news for everyone in the metal community! Ozzy Osbourne just confirmed he is working on a new album with producer Andrew Watt.
Speaking with Radio.com, Ozzy said:
“"I'm doing another record right now. I just started to work with Andrew again. It's what gets me up in the morning, and it's what I'm here to do," he continued. "It saved my life, doing that last album. It's better than sitting on my ass all day waiting for the fucking pandemic to be over. And then you go, 'Oh, yeah, I am a rock and roller. I'd better do an album.' You've got all the fucking time in the world to make the best album possible."
Earlier this month, Ozzy Osbourne paid tribute to Lee Kerslake, the former Ozzy Osbourne drummer, who died. He was 73 years old and suffered from terminal cancer. His death was confirmed by Ken Hensley, a former member of the band Uriah Heep.
"He died peacefully, thank God," he said. "I know that many of you prayed for him not to suffer, and I thank you for that." Before joining Uriah Heep, Kerslake played with The Gods, who also featured Ken Hensley, Mick Taylor (Rolling Stones) and Greg Lake (Emerson, Lake & Palmer) in the line-up.
Ozzy Osbourne wrote on Twitter:
“It’s been 39 years since I’ve seen Lee but he lives for ever on the records he played on for me, Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman. Lee Kerslake RIP”
