Miley Cyrus covers Hole’s “Doll Parts”

Miley Cyrus continues her journey to explore rock music classics. After the release of the new album “Plastic Hearts”, a true ode to the 80s, the singer was on Howard Stern's satellite radio show and celebrated a classic song from the 90s.

Miley performed an explosive version of "Doll Parts", a song released by Hole's Courtney Love on the album “Live Through This” from 1994. Accompanied by her band, the American singer performed one of Stern's favorite songs.

“Plastic Hearts”, the singer’s new album, features Dua Lipa, Billy Idol and Joan Jett and you can get it here.

Miley says she was afraid to join the 27 Club

Miley Cyrus, who turned 28 this Monday, confessed that she decided to give up alcohol and drugs last year because she was afraid to join the famous "27 Club", made up of great artists who died at the age of 27 - Kurt Cobain, Janis Joplin, Amy Winehouse, Jimi Hendrix and Jim Morrison.

“27 to me was a year that I really had to protect myself,” she told Apple Music’s New Music Daily. “That actually really made me want to get sober because we’ve lost so many icons at 27. It’s a very pivotal time.”

Cyrus adds, however, that it was not easy to stay sober.

“I would never sit here and go, ‘I’ve been fucking sober’… I fell off and I realized that I now am back on sobriety, two weeks sober, and I feel like I really accepted that time. One of the things I’ve used is, ‘Don’t get furious, get curious’. So don’t be mad at yourself, but ask yourself, ‘What happened?’

“To me, it was a fuck up because I’m not a moderation person, and I don’t think that everyone has to be fucking sober. I think everyone has to do what is best for them. I don’t have a problem with drinking. I have a problem with the decisions I make once I go past that level of… I’ve just been wanting to wake up 100 per cent of the time.”
