Sylvain Helaine, a French professor who is 35 years old, worked at a kindergarten in France. Despite his gift for teaching children, he is also known as a tattooed model: 98% of his body, including his tongue and eyes, is covered in ink.

In any case, the appearance of Sylvain / Freaky Hoody and his role as a kindergarten teacher created an intense debate not only in France, but in other countries that have echoed the news. Some people think his teaching skill is all that matters and others argue that a person who looks like that shouldn't be around such small children.

Sylvain added something to the subject:

"All of my students and their parents were always cool with me because basically they knew me," said Helaine, who estimated he has spent around 460 hours under the tattooists' needle. "It's only when people see me from far away that they can assume the worst."

Now, in a news story posted by CNN, Sylvain revealed that he has been fired:

"I think the decision they took was quite sad,"

According to Sylvain's description on his Instagram, he is the most tattooed man in France, having spent more than 50 thousand euros on tattoo sessions, after his first tattoo, at the age of 27.

Now, Sylvain was prevented from teaching at the kindergarten after a parent complained he scared their child. Helaine was constantly criticized by parents of students. The teacher's name was also a regular topic of debate at the school’s board. According to sources, the children in his class liked him and a girl went so far as to say that the tattooed man was one of her favorite teachers. In fact, what surprised children the most was having a male teacher in kindergarten, not the fact that he is tattooed.

Do you think the board of the school was right to fire him?
