John Dolmayan has been one of the most active voices in the rock and metal community on social media. The drummer for System Of A Down has again expressed his appreciation for the good people that save and fight for our lives: firefighters, police offers and first responders.

John wrote on Instagram:

“Let’s remember the fallen innocents who went to work not knowing it was their last day and honor the fire fighters police and other first responders who knowingly put their lives in peril to help as many people live as possible though it cost them their own lives . They don’t get paid millions ,they don’t get awards , we often take them for granted . They are the best of us . Don’t idolize actors , musicians, or athletes who are merely entertainers. Idolize the people who really deserve your respect and more importantly deserve your support.”
