Angus Young Reveals “Most Regrettable” AC/DC Song Of All Time
Angus Young revealed AC/DC’s most regrettable track of all time
In a new interview with Vulture, the legendary AC/DC guitar player shared what he thinks is AC/DC’s most regrettable song of all time.
Angus said:
"On our first album, “High Voltage”, we did a love song called 'Love Song'. That was very different for us. I didn't know if we were trying to parody love songs of the time, because Bon Scott wrote the lyrics. I don't even remember what the words are. I remember that song because the guy who worked for us at our record label told us that's what was on the local radio at the time — very soft music. His thought we should release that song, because it'll probably get some airplay. I remember thinking, 'Who in their right mind would want this to go out?' We were very fortunate, though, because all of the radio stations who had seen us live knew this was not who we were, so these stations started to flip the record over and play the other song, which was a cover of a blues standard called 'Baby, Please Don't Go'. We actually scored a hit from the B-side. That was the one saving grace of the song."

AC/DC announced their reunion a few months ago
The official announcement is here! AC/DC are back and bassist Cliff Williams, drummer Phil Rudd and lead singer Brian Johnson have officially returned to the band. Cliff Williams had officially retired from the band in 2017 while Brian Johnson had to leave in 2016 (being replaced shortly after by Axl Rose) due to hearing loss and Phill Rudd was replaced by Chris Slade in 2015.
There had been many rumors going around claiming that AC/DC were set to make a huge announcement on social media this week. Some said the band was set to announce a new album, others claimed Brian Johnson was back as the lead singer but before today’s announcement no one really knew what was going on.
