6 Guitar Heroes Perform EPIC Version of “Bohemian Rhaposdy”: WATCH

A version of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" was performed by a real guitar orchestra this week. Generation Axe musicians - Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, Zakk Wylde (Ozzy Osbourne, Black Label Society), Nuno Bettencourt (Extreme) and Tosin Abasi (Animals as Leaders) - joined one of the song's creators, Brian May, for a new recording of the classic Queen track.

This is not the first time these musicians perform together. During the spring of 2016, Steve Vai, Malmsteen, Zakk Wylde, Bettencourt and Abasi got together for a North American tour called “Generation Axe”. A year after their successful opening tour, the five guitarists got together again for a tour of 11 cities in Asia, which included a stop in Beijing, China, from which a record, “Generation Axe - The Guitars That Destroyed The, World: Live In China “, launched in June 2019.

The initiative raised money for Crew Nation's Music Forward Foundation. The project earns income for tour teams and concert halls that are out of work because of the new coronavirus pandemic.
